John Kerry Rally Packed with GOP Stooges
Found this here:

http://blamebush.typepad.com/blamebush/2006/08/john_kerry_addr.html

Not the greatest blog post but people here might be interested. I wish there was a better source for the story.

1. Sounds to me like
an extremely lame attempt at humor.

There was a report here a few days ago by someone who attended that rally - it sounded like a lovely event.

Is that an anti-Bush website? All the comments sound like they are from freepers.

2. Might be a freeper site
I just found this story in my RSS reader which picks up all blog stories on Kerry and have never gone to this site before.

Looking back at it, it appears it might be a right wing site trying to give their impression of an anti-Bush site.

I noted stuff like "As he delivered his nuanced oratory" about Kerry but unfortuantley there are far too many liberal sites which would also say this.

Actually I'd prefer it be a freeper site. It is not impressive as a liberal site, so let them take the blame.

It doesn't look like we can take anything from this seriously. I wouldn't put it past conservatives to pack a Kerry rally to cause trouble, but in this case the story appears to be lame humor as opposed to a real story.

5. I think it's a freeper site, too
The title is being sarcastic. Very thinly disguised as a lefty site, maybe--but we can tell the difference from the real thing.

6. One more thought...
Does it strike anyone else that the RW is still working extremely hard to discredit Kerry? Granted, I don't follow their attacks on other dems, so maybe Kerry is only getting what everyone else is getting. But it seems like they consider him a serious threat.

Maybe the swift liars effect wasn't as great (or as long lasting) as they hoped it would be...

7. When driving, out of boredom
I've listened to some of the RW loonies. They seem to attack the Clintons, Gore and Kerry the most. To a lesser degree they attack Clark. I have never heard them mention Warner, Bayh or Edwards. (Given Edwards visibility in the last several months and the fact that he has seemed to take variations on Kerry's current positions on Iraq - you would expect to hear him more.) I don't recall any mention of Feingold.

The odd thing with the Kerry complaints is they seem to be the same stale things - plus they like to say he is deluding himself - maybe we should convince the leftie freepers that nominating Kerry again is the easiest way to piss off the RW.

8. thanks, karyn
I like to let Stephanie Miller :D do my right wing reporting for me, so I don't feel on solid ground talking about what's going on with them.

9. my RW dad said that Kerry has no chance of running again
because people see him as a loser--but also knows the election was close. So those two facts are out there in RW-land: 1)Kerry wants to run again and 2)the election was very close. (yeah-- * would have won if he had gotten 6 million more votes! ;) )

3. I can't figure out what the site wants to be. It is all over the place.
The owner of the site calls himself a progressive, but some of his comments lean towards being a conservative. He seems to dislike most Democrats- Kerry among one of his favorites to discredit, yet he seems to not like Bush either.

Maybe,it is a Green site or perhaps, it is a site for anyone who hates anything.

4. Here's a link that even has a little clip
It is from this group - someone who was involved in setting the event up kindly posted it. They were pleased with the turnout and the reception. There is nothing to suggest that this post is anything other than fiction - especially as Benny05 posted a link to Free Republic's coverage, which included that very photo - which when she posted it had 92 comments - mostly of the usual garbage. They had one new complaint - apparently at some 2004 event, Teresa whispered something to her husband, who promptly got up walked away and returned to give her a bottle of water - which from their point of view diminishes him by making him an errand boy.
