MSM acknowledges Dem's suspicions about "04" outcome in Ohio.
Very small mention, but every little bit helps. From, "First Read".

Blackwell is also a lightning rod for Democrats for the role he played, as secretary of state, in overseeing Sen. John Kerry's narrow loss to Bush in Ohio in 2004 -- an outcome which sealed Bush's re-election and about which some Democrats remain as suspicious as they do of then-Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris' role in the 2000 recount

1. wow! 2years later FINALLY a Mainstream article!
Finally!

I KNEW this would happen. I knew they would stick by ole' GWB until his ratings were always so consistantly low that they realized there's more people out here to 'pander' to. They're finally worried about their own pocketbooks enough to tell the truth!

6. Interesting that it is stated as it is
it's added in a way that it is already known and common knowledge that there were problems in Ohio. This may be good - as it is read - less skeptically than an up front comment that there were problems in 2004 in Ohio.

8. Better late than never. But the damage done in the calculated 'wait'...
However, I've always said it WOULD be Blackwell who squealed...eventually. Perhaps yet.

Poor Katherine and Blackwell. The Karmic wheel turns, slowly...yet it does.

2. "Mr Headlines" Bill Clinton, himself, couldn't get MSM to mention election
fraud in Ohio when he said RFK made a compelling case that the election was stolen.

Corporate media said NOTHING and Mr Headlines didn't follow up on his remarks, either.

3. Oh, this is definitely
one for GD-P. This snip in the OP, that entire paragraph, and the three before it should definitely be posted.

4. I think there is still a problem with the average American caring.
People who are into politics do care--especially when it is their party being shut out of fair elections. But picture Mr. and Mrs. Average:

They will think, "oh yeah, they probably did do some cheating and maybe Bush stole the election again--but what can anybody do about it--and anyway it doesn't matter to me personally because all politicians are the same, blah blah blah." And then they they go back to paying attention to their own personal life--their favorite tv programs, or their kids, etc. A lot of Americans are incredibly self-centered and apathetic--because the trouble being created hasn't landed on their own doorsteps yet.

And the rest of us are freakin' pulling our hair out trying to get them to care. I hope the media stops pandering to its consumers and gets a spine and starts reporting the whole truth. And I hope more people start caring more.

5. I also hope people start caring more.
The one statement I hate to hear is, it's politics and I don't like politics.
I hope they come to realize soon that it is more than politics, our elections and those who represent us impact everything we do-directly and indirectly.
Personally, I think our party should take the lead and address this American apathy toward our government.
