I have to say I'm proud of Arlen today, and that doesn't happen often. I wonder though, if it wasn't for his own tragic illness, if he would still have the same philosophy?
I just hope when bush* dashes the hopes of the suffering millions that it's the death knell of his presidency. If he vetoes this, the vast majority of Americans will finally realize that he's truly heartless.

I heard this speech live on the floor today and I thought Santorum was deep in self-parody mode. (Thought I have no problem comparing him to suspended cells frozen in a petri dish somewhere. They have the same intellectual force.)

Ahm, I can loan you a Senator for a few days. I think that Sen. is being loaned out to South Carolina this weekend, but it doesn't look like they really want him there, so maybe he can stop by PA.
