See below from, First Read. Only thing I don't like is the reference or lack thereof of real names- we get only, "some party officials" and "democratic lawmakers".

The Boston Globe covers Democrats' mixed feelings about a repeat Kerry bid in 2008, including encouragement from the left and cringing from the Establishment. "Some party officials and Democratic lawmakers said in interviews that they are seeing in Kerry some of the same loser-liberation that has attracted people to former vice president Al Gore."

2. Okay -- back to the topic
I don't know if they're calling us losers. The term was "Loser-liberation", meaning once Al Gore and John Kerry were no longer running for president, they could then speak their minds more candidly unfettered by DC consultants and the media glare.

Whatever -- I like John Kerry AND Al Gore more than most of the Dems in DC or who are running for president out in the heartland.

5. You have to take some things with a grain of salt

This is far more positive than almost anything written. The fact is the media is unlikely to admit that they covered for Bush or held Kerry to an impossible standard - that he nearly achieved. The most negative comments are associated to another Senator (He blew it - my vote is Biden, the unfaithful surrogate) and to someone described as "a Democratic consultant who worked on Senate campaigns for Kerry but who was not involved in his presidential run." As every consultant likely dreams of being high in a presidential run - to not be selected by someone you should have an "in" with is not too cool.

They also quote Chris Lahayne - who either left Kerry for Clark or Kerry fired him. The latter seems more likely as he didn't come back. The comment from Kos is a major improvement, but the article doesn't say what Kos's opinion was in 2004 or 2005.

6. Granted-I have a few holes in my shell from last weeks attacks from
the media, the Republicans and our own party. I don't know how he goes on and just brushes it off. There are a few people- excuse me for saying this- that I would like to give a swift kick in the balls to, with an army boot.
