Guilty on the Enron case.
Hehehehe! I wonder what this will do for California and Arnold's race. Enron did try and price fix the electricity rates and they did try and screw over the grandmothers in a rush to make money over energy trading. Wonder what Arnie will say about this?

1. Didn't Ahnold make the Enron case go away in CA
Edited on Thu May-25-06 12:44 PM by TayTay
and refuse to continue the lawsuit that sought damages for what that bastard company did to the people of California. Hehehehe! Payback should be a beyatch for Arnie in this fall's election. Enron was guilty and Arnold's actions cost California in excess of hundreds of millions of dollars in lost judgements.

3. I'm so glad these crooks have been served!
And the entire Calif. energy scandal should be in the news for the as long as it takes to get to the bottom of it.

4. Kerry's statement:
John Kerry on Enron Convictions

“Unimaginable corporate greed hurt families, bankrupted life savings and destroyed lives.

“Kenneth Lay and Jeff Skilling will soon be behind bars for a very long time, but their victims must not be forgotten.

“For this to be a major accountability moment for corporate corruption and backroom insider deals, the way business is done in Washington must change too. Protecting workers’ pensions and shareholders’ investments must become a real priority in a city that too often has done too little to change a culture that allows the Ken Lays of the world to play by their own rules.”

5. Damn, another great statement. I still remember the stunned
ENRON workers when they appeared as a group on a news program. It was hard for me to fathom, that CEO's and corporate leaders could be that greedy and beyond contempt. These are not human beings.
