Why are the Dems having a special caucus today
in the Senate? I wonder what's up with that. Is this for the CBC seminar on voting rights or is something up? (I'll keep C-Span 2 on, just in case.)

1. Sen Wyden is talking about the Senate Intel bill
and how one 'secret' Senator has placed a hold on the bill. This is probably due to the 3 amendments from the Senators from Massachusetts, (Teddy 2, Kerry, 1) that impose conditions on what the Intel people can do and that make them report to Congress on their actions.

The bill that re-authorizes the Intelligence budget is in danger. Interesting. I wonder if the Kennedy and Kerry Amendments, which have already passed the Senate by big margins, will get tossed soon in conference.
