He is, beyond a doubt, the kind of rubber-stamp Republican that Karl Rove and Tom DeLay think we need more of in Washington. In fact, Rove was featured at a $100,000 Gerlach fundraiser, and the DeLay money machine has funneled $30,000 in direct contributions to Gerlach.

In the "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" Washington built by the indicted GOP Majority Leader, Gerlach returned the favor. He's the only Pennsylvania member of Congress to give money to the DeLay Legal Defense Fund.

Pennsylvania can't count on Gerlach. That's why I hope you'll consider helping Lois Murphy win this crucial swing district election.

Murphy narrowly lost to Gerlach in 2004 after a nasty campaign in which he outspent her and, shockingly, attempted to link her to the Taliban!
