1. Yeah, JK, I know *just* how you feel.

Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.) and Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) express their frustration with the nomination of John Bolton to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

Honestly, is this a great pic or what. The permanent subtitle could be.... 'You trying working with these brain-dead morans. It's no day at the beach, let me tell ya.'

9. Look at poor Chris Dodd in that pic.
I think he was a new Dad back in April, he probably wasn't getting much sleep and he had to put up with Bolton the Bastard at a hearing. The poor, poor man.

What a great pic! (That expression makes our esteemed Senator look so, um, youthful, huh?)

And then there's those glasses...

19. My first impression when I looked at the first photo

is that they got a hold of some bad Chinese food and lived to regret it.

Thanks for the photo thread Tay Tay. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep so naturally my first thoughts turned to checking out the Kerry forum to see what was new. That's not normal is it?

43. I'm going to use that pic as my wallpaper.
Every single time that the Bushies and Rethugs do another brain-dead or evil thing, I am just going to look at that pic and know I am not alone in what I am feeling.

I adore that pic. Just adore it.

40. In addition to explaining the picture, the article has a good
description of the primaries immediately after the NH primary. Seeing the number of threads that proclaim how much better Dean, Clark or Edwards could have done - if the media hadn't picked Kerry - this article could put things into perspective. Even at this point Kerry could easily have lost - with bad super Tuesday results.

Note Dean's comment on how Kerry would now have to deal with being the front runner. Also note that Edwards and Clark really did do only marginally better than Lieberman - both at 12% vs 9% - not a 3 way tie for third as Lieberman said, but especially not good for Clark, who by skipping Iowa had spent a lot of time there. (In a purple state - the type the Clarkies now say he'll win in.)

15. i think Kerry should have worn Jeans to the 2nd debate
seriously, he needed to wear those much more often. of course they almost never showed him so we don't know how much he truly wore them.

but i think the positives from the way he looked in the jeans would have exceeded any negative reaction he got for wearing them at that debate with audience members.

27. One more, cuz it's Grace under Pressure

I actually like these inauguration pics because it was so classy for Sen. Kerry to show up and be such a good reminder to the Bushies that he wasn't going anywhere. I just thought that was amazing and courageous. And it showed how petty and low the Bushies and their supporters really were when they booed him.

But when he does it...he's truly "in the moment"...not a mere photo-op. And the kids seem to love him.
