Hrrm. Did anyone else come home from Boston SICK AS HELL?
I have a hideous cold/respiratory infection type thing, and I DO NOT GET SICK. I'm like a racehorse.

WTF?

Anyone?

I feel like hell. Can't breathe...runny/stuffy nose, headache, bad cough, painful lungs, the whole bit.

WHO GAVE ME THIS MICROBE?!

1. Planes will do that; my dad has sworn off flying because
the last 3 times he's flown he's contracted bronchitis. Sigh... I'll miss him.
I hope you get to feeling better.

2. I got really sick on stage but I think it was the lights. Had to go to
the back because I was getting queasy. And I had some trouble with breathing, but with me it was asthma. Too much excitement.

No runny nose. Thank God!

Hope you feel better soon.

3. That hotel was overheated.
And it was really cold out. Bad combination. I have had the usual pre-winter cold for a while now, but I hope I didn't give it to you. I don't have your symptoms, but I do have Catholic guilt by the bagful, so I can (and probably will) take responsibility anyway.

(It could have been that tall guy you were sitting next to. Yeah, think about that. There is a price to be paid for close-up access woman. It's not all tea and roses here honey.)

5. Well, Tay...go ahead and heap the guilt on by the truckful.
After all, you worried about Wel's finals, and Veks runny nose...just don't fly across the country to wipe her nose for her!

7. You're right. Screw that.
I'm going to bask for a little while longer. The world can feel guilty without me for a little while longer while I revel in the fact that I didn't f up.

Basking again now.

High Five Ray?

10. Yes, let the world spin on it's own guilt axis without you.
You most certainly did not f-up. Although I certainly hope when I come to Boston that you will fumigate all planes I might ride in and make sure you clear the elevators of germs and make sure there are no runny noses or coughs anywhere near me.

I know it's a task you can handle.

High five!!!

13. COLD? Boston? Y'all need to come to Philly.
Hey, sorry to sound insensitive, but I got home and wanted to go back to Boston where it was WARM. It was freaking FRIGID in Philly today.

Well maybe some of the warmth in Boston was due to the presence of two very lovely, warm and special people, plus a big group of their fans from around the country. Still, the thermometers between Boston and Philly are reversed, I'm tellin' ya!

4. I hope you feel better soon Vek!
Besides the plane travel we were around an awful lot of people this weekend. Just think of all the crowded elevators we were in with all of the kids from the model UN, that wicked nasty woman with 15 kids you ran into in the mall, all the people at the party - I can see how it would be easy to pick up a bug. Feel better soon

14. LOL OMG
There was like some kind of Model UN convention at the Park Plaza that weekend. All these NERDALICIOUS college kids in suits and skirts MOBBING EVERY ELEVATOR and BUMPING INTO EVERYONE all day Saturday and a good deal of Sunday. They quickly became the objects of our wrath. :P And you'll have to ask Vek about the wicked nasty lady with 15 kids, cuz I wasn't there.

16. Hey, those are my people!
Okay, not the model UN, cuz they were hogging the elevator and stuff. But that lady with the 15 kids, ahm, she might be a voter.

11. You know what works?
crush a clove of garlic and heat in a tablespoon of oil. Down the garlic oil.

Parents use to swear by it, so I guess it works.

Plus, no one will bite your neck for a while.

Feel better Vek.
