Some men just look elegant in a tux. (Maybe it's his height.) Some men look like they are in a monkey-suit. Sen. Kerry is definitely in the former category. Yum!

I liked Teresa's dress. (Said she with no fashion sense whatsoever.) I thought the color was gorgeous. I wonder what it looks like in full light? (Those flashlights distort so much.)

but then again I need adult Garanamals to dress myself properly so who am I to judge. I'm just not a big fan of the frills. JK on the other hand looks absolutely dashing - like a movie star.

4. The dress is a bit much

I've noticed that when Teresa does evening wear, she tends to go for a bit to many ruffles (e.g., her wedding dress when she married Kerry.) However, they make a very attractive couple nevertheless. They look very happy.

the way his hair photographs. It looks so dark in these pictures, and on tv this morning - silver.

It seems like when he gets dressed up in a tux he puts gel in his hair, which would make it appear darker

because it always looks like the hair closer to the roots is dark while the ends are light.

14. he seems to be the type that HAS to always be on the move

i'm the opposite. i get tired just from going out for a few hours.

in fact he seems to get frustrated if he can't get out and do something. for him relaxing is windsurfing and doing something else that requires a lot of physical energy. for me relaxing is just sitting or lying down somewhere.

Teresa said how he doesn't even need food to stay energetic. she said he can campaign for hours without eating anything.

17. Did anyone else see this photo of * at the same event?

Fe-Fi-Foe-Fum. He looks like a freakin' giant which we all know he ain't (mental or otherwise). This was a White House photo and I can understand them wanting to make the very tiny man appear taller, but I think they went a wee bit overboard in their attempts. It looks like he's in one of those optical illusion rooms. Very strange IMO. (JK on the other hand, needs no optical illusions to appear taller. :) )

That first picture absolutely makes me melt. What that tux does for his *face*. It brings out a real light in his eyes, that smile, the glow of his complexion...

And Teresa's dress? I liked the one she wore last year better-- a cute little black-and-white, almost summery number-- but I love the material in this one, and the way it shines.

Such a beautiful couple.

Maybe it's the realtively narrow face. But that suit looks really, really good on him. (It's classy.)

22. The tux looks great, but I think that most of the best pictures of him

are when he's with Teresa. I think the smile, the eyes and the glow could be from that. During the campaign, when she arrived mid-speech he visibly relaxed and looked much happier (though he hadn't looked the least bit unhappy before.)
