1. I think Stephanie Miller has a little crush

on Kerry sometimes. She is the kindest to him of all the talk shows. I think she really does have a tiny crush.

I love her. She's my favorite talk show, cuz she is so funny!

2. I love her too,

partly because she's so funny, partly because she bashes the Fox jackasses every single day, and partly because she does what I think a capital D Democrat ought to do. She's smart, but she's loyal, and she never jumps to believe the most negative spin from the lefty freepers. She actually thinks for herself.

Did you hear her interview Susan Estrich a few weeks ago? It was hilarious? She actually has a distinct point of view of her own. I like that no one else tells her what to think. She'll interview Estrich and watch Fox (so you don't have to), but she also has the "Conspiracy Corner." She's really quite fearless.

Edited to add: She does admire Kerry, but treats him with more dignity than most. At least, she hasn't yet added him to her list of "Future Husbands". For non-Stephanie listeners these include Keith Olbermann, (the very married) Paul Hackett, and Patrick Fitzgerald.

And now she's hammering on the intelligence issue - that Kerry DID NOT have the same intelligence the administration did.

Good. It can't be repeated enough. I also love the way they play * and Darth Cheney speeches on air and heckle them while they're talking. It's like a political Mystery Science Theater.

She played the sound clip of Kerry responding to Big Dick about the senate not getting the same intelligence the White House had (yadda yaddda yadda), where JK said "That's just plain, flat-out not true."

Stephanie replied, "That's the senatorial version of 'You're a Lying Sack of Crap.'" And then she played the song. I think JK himself would have appreciated that bit.
