5. Not to worry,
Your posts are worth the wait and certainly prick the skin of a few of those knuckleheads.

I agree, that is a beautiful photo.

3. Vektor, that really is the most gorgeous pic ever
Where did you find that pic. It's a cross between a painting from the Vatican ceiling and a photo shoot from GQ. (That, btw, is a neat trick.)

I don't know whether I want to light a candle and pray or just drool. Wow! That is one gorgeous pic!

6. I just found it online - I really don't remember the site.
It is about the most beautiful thing ever. It gives me a slow burn in all the right places.

4. Vector to the rescue!
Gosh...I guess I'm going to have to take away my innocence when wading through the cesspool of GD and get down and raunchy huh?

I bet it makes more than a few guys there envious!

7. I find it most effective.
Keeps me from getting angry, instead makes it FUN to wade into those rotten threads. It's way nicer to laugh than to get enraged.

9. Well, it certainly IS a show stopper!
AND it probably makes the chicks wonder what they're missing.

And the guys think...gosh..if chicks like him...maybe I better...

Gotta wonder how many minds you and WEL (and others who take that route) have changed along the way.

People come here because of the scintillating discussions and the latent need to be among other Kerry fans and because their might be wonky stuff as well.

Then they get here and find out we admire the whole package and say, "Really, I thought it was just me. You guyz too." To which we reply, "Take a number."

Really, this happens all the time.

Hands? How many people thought they were the only ones?

Got this from an article about '96

When the two middle-aged professional women leaning against the wall saw the candidate coming toward them, their reaction was entirely involuntary.

The two were standing near the door of a small, crowded conference room at Holyoke Community College, where John Kerry was set to kick off his first big day of campaigning in Western Massachusetts. He was late. Inside, a group of students and faculty buzzed expectantly, momentarily caught up in the well-staged drama of the state's all-important U.S. Senate race.

As Kerry approached the room, he spotted the two transfixed women and he shot them a smile.
They actually started giggling.

It's a powerful asset, that insanely charming, gleaming, white-on-tanned-skin smile, and Kerry doesn't squander it. More often than not, he keeps stone-faced. He is a serious man. Sometimes grave. But on the campaign trail, he brightens like a movie star when he walks into a room of people.

14. I'm impressed with the womens' restraint.
When he smiled and waved at me in Oregon, I squealed, shrieked and began to swoon, and kind of peed a little.

15. May or August?
I was in Portland in May. Or did you go up to Medford in August?

17. I didn't go
IIRC, it was stand in the heat in Medford and drive home really late at night, or get up at an ungodly hour to make it to Portland to have any chance of getting in. When I saw that 50,000 person crowd, I was both glad I wasn't in it and sad I wasn't in it, at the same time. Now if I'd known you were going to be in Medford, well that would have changed everything! Maybe next time. :)
