and copyrighted. You need permission from C-Span. Perhaps there is some way to get a waiver if the person speaking requests it, but you better get a lawyer if you use their stuff without permission.

It was a last minute speech. I got the alert 5 - 10 before and the text as he was speaking. I say more of these last minute speeches! He was on fire.

I understand c-span needs to recoup their costs. Well actually I don't know why they can't recoup their costs for coverage of the House and Senate from either my taxes or my cable bill. (Lord knows both bills are currently paying for a lot of stuff I don't want. Like wars and MTV and whatever that thing is that seems to be MTV2.) But it just seems sad that if I capture the video off a transmission from the Senate floor that I can't post it wherever I want - it's our friggin' government, for crying out loud.

and he was repeating the same BS that Edwards (and I imagine he meant Kerry too, though he did not say so), were still proposing the same solution as Bush.

Also, I was happy to see Kerry, but the comment on him was that Bush does not want to embrace the "grey world of John Kerry".

21. I'll tell you what it is with Fineman, he doesn't care for Kerry and

he tries to marginalize him when he can. I have noticed his comments concerning Kerry for a while, I even wrote him a while back when he said something about no one being interested in him any longer. I think I write him again about the "grey area comment" he made. Gotta love the media, dish Kerry and promote Edwards with Kerry's words.
