I wanted a thread that will track S. 1993, which is the Iraq War bill Sen. Kerry introduced last week. This should be an interesting ride and I think it deserves it's own thread that will garner posts as things happen.

(BTW, what happened to Smith and Wyden on the Graham amendment( opposing rights for ennemy combattants? Why did Wyden vote YES and Smith NO?)

I have no goddamned idea. I was so totally shocked by that. I need to call and find out. I just know that I'm going to hear stuff that makes me want to put my fingers in my ears and scream "no no no, stop saying that!!" Really made my stomach turn to see that vote.
