since its been taken over by lefty freeps. I still wish he'd check in here now and then.

3. I don't think it's been taken over

more like a minor infestation. The good people are still here, it's just that you have to step over all the negatives people to get to the good ones. There are fair arguments made here every day, just as there is also a lot of wasted space. I'm sorry to hear that the irritating ones here on DU have caused him to fall away.

It will get better and fairly soon. (Well, January.) There is blood in the water. There are some very smart people here who will figure it out. And once they figure out that there is in deed Rethug blood in the water, they will unite, despite their differences. It was ever so, honestly.

Democrats have always, always, always loudly aired their differences. It's sort of a signature move for us. We are, after all, the Party that is firmly committed to free speech.

Give it time. I see loads of reasons for hope.

4. i was wondering about her also

i'm assuming she probably got a job or something and is too busy to post.

i know she mentioned something about that before.

i just hope it wasn't one of the assholes who were making fun of her that is keeping her away.

5. The last time I saw her she was having a meltdown in the lounge

She'd read something by Spong (a sorta out there, off the wall, not quite Christian in my book, author) who'd said that God and Jesus didn't really exist. And since at that point she was calling herself stupid and ugly, she figured that this smart author must know more than her stupid self, and so she was having a meltdown.

She sounds like she really needed her church for support, so I told her to go and see her pastor.

She has mentioned having had problems before, so I imagine she's off dealing with some stuff at the moment. Hopefully she will return when she's feeling better.
