I was just over at the "Greatest" and saw BLM's post about Kerry's speech yesterday. I have to say the response was great. 36 votes - yeehaw! Then the lite bulb went on.

We all know that it is time for our main man to get some love from the media. Get him back in the spotlight, long before 2008. So, I thought, why not send this speech to:
Meet the Press?
George Snuffy?
Wolf Blitzer?
Face the Nation?
Democracy Now ????
(who else?)
And keep bugging them, all of us, until they do something about it!:evilgrin:

I am so tired of people not being aware of what Kerry is all about.
I'm tired of people calling the dems spineless. Excuuuussse me.
Senator Kerry has a spine. And he is doing everything that everyone is whining about in GD. But only we know it.

I really feel that if Kerry was on TV - with this new fire he has - that people who voted for him are going to say - "Oh yeah! I remember him", and the people that didn't vote for him are going to say "What the fuck was I thinking???"

What are your thoughts? Anybody ready to become a major pest with me?

YES. All of us should trumpet Kerry's doings far and wide.

Also: EVERYONE needs to print off/email Kerry's speech to EVERYONE THEY KNOW! All your friends and family, if you know they might be receptive to hearing that wonderful speech, please, send it to them! We need to let REAL people, REAL voters (ie, not "progressive blogosphere" nutcases) know what John has been doing for them.

9. I think you have a good idea. The media won't change unless

we give them reason to and change has got to start with the people.I think I'll contact a few media outlets and ask why they didn't think it was important enough to cover Kerry's speech. After all, it summed up the angry a lot of people are feeling.

11. I'm thinking that the first "Kerry Attack" should be on Maher.

My reasons:

I am a huge fan.
Liberal audience.
He'll ask Kerry tough questions, and also have fun with him.
Kerry and Maher are saying basically the same things about this administration, only with different delivery.
