Senate session on CSPAN2; will Kerry be speaking again today?

I doubt JK will speak again today. Hard to improve on yesterday's speech.

3. Sen Kerry is in MA today

as is Sen. Kennedy. They are working to prevent the closure of Otis Air Force base and have to endure the company of Rethug Gov. Mitt Romney for the morning. (Plenary indulgence: This gets you 10 days out of pergatory, minimum.)

I have no guarantee of this but, I am thinking that Kerry will be at Fenway Park tonight. Bizarrely enough, Harmid Karzei, President of Afghanistan has requested to throw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game. (Pres Karzei will be giving a commencement address in Boston this weekend and, apparently, no visit to Boston is complete for a Head of State without throwing out a first pitch at Fenway.) I wouldn't be surprized if the Mass Congressional delegation was offered tickets to accompany Karzei. (Tickets to Red Sox games are hard to come by. I would take this chance if I were him.)
