6. Best Pictures Ever
I think whoever took these pictures needs to be hired as his personal photographer. I especially like the first one, so gracious, and yes very Presidential, I need to weep  for awhile now. This man so deserves to be in the WH, what a different country and world it would be right now. :loveya:

13. amateur detectives: see if you can spot the photographer in muse's photo
Edited on Tue Apr-19-05 01:19 AM by ginnyinWI
I think our star photographer is the guy in the red shirt under the flag--he's got his camera in front of his face in every one of muse's pictures, and it's a larger, more professional looking camera:

15. I would seriously suggest that the photographer
send these to the Senator's office. They seem to be so intimate, that they would be nice for family members to have. I'm sure Kerry's daughters would love these.

Again, Wow! Best pics ever.

23. Thanks!
Oddly enough, I needed those again tonight. The whole Press Conference last night and the depressing budget vote has depressed my sense of humor.

These improve it though. I love the profile pic showing Kerry with his arm out. (This should be a campaign pic. One of the best I've ever seen.) And I simply love, love, love the smiling pic. It is gorgeous. I think it captures that part of the man that everybody tried to hide last year. I am making sure I have this one in my 'personal' collection.

Thanks Ginny! I needed that.

24. You too, huh?
I just wrote a response to sandnsea saying the same thing.

Bad news week. These gorgeous pictures help, but what I really want is to see him on tv talking and telling me it will be all right. Man, that is pathetic...

Did you see the email I posted yesterday? I wrote him a supportive email about the filibuster, and got an actual letter back in response. For you non-MA people, while he was busy running for prez there were no senatorial emails, so this one made me happy.

25. Yeah, this has just been one of those weeks
There are going to be a lot of those weeks coming up. The * people are just getting started on vengeance against Kerry and others who dared to run against their Master in a free and open election. (No, that doesn't make any sense. It didn't make sense last summer when Zell the Unhinged said it at the Rethug Traveling Creepshow and Revival in NYC last summer either. Apparently, Rethugs think that if you have an election and oppose their Master, you are unpatriotic. Didn't Zell the Unhinged say something like, "And those Democrats actually want to defeat our Commander in Chief." Well, yeah. That's why they call it democracy, you friggin mental defective.

I will try not to post any more pics. My choice of pics this week is tending to the grotesque. And I haven't even hit the Rethugs as Zombies pics from Dawn of the Dead. I will try and get centered and peaceful and hum Kumbaya or something. Sigh! It's going to be a long 18 months.

26. This is true.
I'm pissed off - this should be a really happy weekend and all I can think about is thieves and thugs. When they start invading my personal life it's hard to stop paying attention.

It's personal. I feel like these monsters are stealing my childrens' futures. Nobody f***s with my children and gets away with it.

About Zell the Unhinged: I blush to admit that when I heard he'd been taken to the hospital I said, good. That's what they've done to me. I'm usually not that person.

Note from the Kerry Campaign... At Least I "Think" That's Where I Was...
    November 2004

    by David Burnett

The picture of the 2004 "bomber crew" team, 18 photographers plus one Senator running for President, was taken by Boston Globe reporter Glen Johnson who grabbed Reuters photographer Brian Snyder's camera in Lacrosse, Wisconsin the last morning of the campaign. I dare say we viewed the Senator as someone who could well end up in the Oval office, but who, more importantly, was for these weeks, the fulcrum of our pictures. Any of us could do a good imitation of the Senators arrival on stage, the waves to the crowd, the mock surprise of seeing a familiar face, the pointing, the saluting, all the things you do when the WHOLE world is watching you. We see it through a viewfinder, as if our vision is even more concentrated through the glass. Yet for this brief moment of the last day of the campaign (some had started photographing Kerry over a year ago) we seemed to all be able to share a moment of pure camaraderie, as if the mere sharing of those long flights, late night drives to the hotel, and the hundreds of "It's a Beautiful Day" Bono musical interludes, was enough to cement our moment of friendship.

John Kerry, D-Mass., as she is held by her mother, Peggy Kerry, John Kerry's sister, during a campaign appearance with New York Democrats and politicians, Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at Harlem's Alhambra Ballroom in New York. Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., looks on, upper right." (AP Photo/Kathy Willens)

34. I sent the photographer an e-mail
Edited on Sat Apr-30-05 04:39 PM by TayTay
congratulating him on his wonderful photos. I suggested that he see if he could forward copies of these to the Senator's office.

I just got a wonderful e-mail back from him. If you can, may I most humbly suggest that sending more heartfelt e-mails about the glorious nature of his photos just might get this gifted photographer to send the pics to Kerry. (I really believe that the Senator's family would love these. They are so warm and flattering.)

Anyway, you can get his e-mail from the original pic site at: http://www.ethosphotography.com/kerry/
E-mail address is at the upper left corner of the screen.

Show this guy some love. I mean, these are amazing pics!
