1. Let her - As this is a religious values conference, she will never come close
to having Kerry's innate decency, integrity or real values. I doubt she could even understand his Pepperdine speech. How that woman, who may well not even know when he is lying, could be seen as someone with values is beyond me. As to family values, it seems odd that her biological family has not been spoken of (other than that she has a gay sister) - and at 41, she has never had a serious relationship.

Here's an article from my local paper. http://www.dailyrecord.com/article/20100917/COMMUNITIES/309170019/Tea-Party-favorite-turned-her-life-around-at-FDU Her college, Farleigh Dickenson, http://www.fdu.edu/ , is in my county. It is not a very competitive college - about half their students enter with less than 500 SATs (this was true for both math and verbal) yet, it is expensive.

3. Exactly! When she has accomplished even a tenth of what Senator Kerry has..

..then and only then should she feel fit to lecture him about the yacht or anything else..

Something about this woman just rings really false to me, much the way Sarah Palin did, right from the first. Cut from the same cloth, imo..

4. Weird that they look so similar
The right wing are extremely hypocritical on the chart. All 2004, they watched like hawks to make sure Teresa's money was not used in the campaign. But, whenever he comes up as the wealthiest Senator or they look at who has what holdings, they attack him for that - even though the vast majority of the money is still Teresa's. Now, with the yacht, it was obvious that given the price, Teresa (or actually one of her companies) is the primary owner - and she is a PA resident.

He said he would pay any taxes owed as soon as it came up. Now, it might have been that the company was avoiding taxes, which it legally could do, but the right jumped on the story before he even would have had a chance to pay them had he intended too. At any rate, it was a political error, not a legal issue - as many of Ms O'Donnell's were.

Some of the rightwingers have always been quite weird on Kerry having married Teresa. I wonder, among some like Howie Carr, who hated Kerry long before that, if their heads exploded when the beautiful, brilliant widow of John Heinz married Senator Kerry. His mocking comments suggest that he is quite jealous of the Senator, who has far out classed him in every way - without even trying.

10. I doubt that the similar look is coincidence
What they have naturally in common is that they are both good looking women (to the extent that I can be objective, given how abhorent I find them, especially that nasty Palin character, but maybe I did not have enough time to understand all the "inner beauty" of the new DE wonder) that are also close in age. Beyond that (hair style, dress style,...) I think that O'Connell has done her best to look like Palin.

I would also add one point (not looks related) in O'Connell's favorL at least she can speak in coherent sentences (which is completely different from what she says making sense, mind you). For me listening to Palin is like the nails of 10 hands on the proverbial board, all at the same time, relly! I cannot take for more than a minute or two tops and I have to shut her off.

5. I agree with both of you, but it's still so irritating...
...and childish. Why is it that these folks like to make fun of people? It says VOLUMES about their character that they do that.

BTW, I loved this: " I doubt she could even understand his Pepperdine speech." You just brought back some good memories :) for me of that beautiful day at Pepperdine. And you are right...it was WAY too intellectual, heartfelt, and visionary for such a shallow person to grasp. :hi:

2. Again, following in Sister Sarah's foot steps..
..pathetic. And so very aggravating. But somehow I doubt Senator Kerry is losing any sleep over what this woman thinks of him. Rather, it just servers to further prove his--and our--points about her and others like her..

14. I think these tea Party candidates are serving to wake up Democrats.
I know I am fired up enough to want to defeat them. I despise that phony Palin and her gullible followers exasperate me.

erever else they might have been planning to be on Election day in November instead of the polls, lol, back out to vote. Or at least I surely hope so! *crosses fingers* One thing's for sure, if these loons get in, this country is in BIG time trouble on many levels... :scared:

15. But the "I was never in a coven"
still ran on FTN. Shieffer got his revenge :-). I heard that clip two or three times already, and when I hear the coven part I burst into laughter automatically. The absurdity of it in and by itself, forget the context, is hilarious. Pure Alice in Wonderland IMHO.
