Some fun video of a young junior Senator on a boat with WBZ's Larry Glick

with the harbor master Larry Seaman. (The footage is jumpy and it has no serious policy stuff. It was the Merrimack river in the greater Lowell area.) This makes me a bit better able to put the Brown puff coverage in perspective.

Here, Kerry steers the ship - looking good in the captain's hat! (someone says he looks "nautical")

Here's the main one

There is no information on when this is - except it sounds like Kerry was up for re-election, so I would guess 1990. (There's some picked up conversation of the primary being September 26.) Kerry looks incredibly young.

Found on a twitter litter from a different, unrelated Kerry article.

1. It looked like a nice event held during an election period.
Boy does Senator Kerry look young there-even younger than Brown looks now.

2. Now that you mention it, if it was 1990, Kerry was younger
He would have been 46 that fall. Brown is 50 and looks like his hair is beginning to recede in the photo on his lame website. http://scottbrown.senate.gov/public/ I doubt he will age as well.

3. No contest on the hair, Senator Kerry wins that straight out.
Scott(baldy)Brown is receding fast and he has only been in office a couple of months.

6. I agree! JK may be older than Brown but I think JK is more attractive all around..
..:D And a better Senator, too (but that pretty much goes without saying, I think lol)

Love that video! It's always so neat to see stuff like that about him, esp. seemingly rarer stuff like this. Thanks for sharing! :)
