1. Junk Mail Regime
At the root of almost every single one of these groups is somebody who made their fortune in direct mail, often people who have been investigated or fined for mail fraud. I even ran across spammer accusations on the guys who host USANext. Junk mail, televangelists, fake news, spam. That's the GOP.

2. At least they are consistent
Dcare the people into doing whatever you want. Scare Seniors about SSI. Scare gun owners that their guns are going to be confiscated. Scare the people with useless terror alerts.

This is where they learned the tactic.
