2. I feel so sorry for him to have to go on this show.

I hope he is ready for stupid and uninformed questions. She is driving me crazy sometimes with her perfectly out of touch approach. It is clear that being the daughter of a respected media person did not give her an idea of the real life.

This said, she often has great guests. It is on her show I saw Teresa Heinz Kerry for the first time, presenting a conference she chaired. I remember that Emily Rooney asked her if Kerry was going to run, so it must have been in 2002.

I hope I will be able to watch.

5. but he was great, anyway.

I especially loved how he managed to point out what EVERYone needs to know: (a) what a great energy plan he had in 2004, and how the Dems built on that (in vain) in 2006 (b)and that he was out in front on proposing a withdrawal plan, with a set date for withdrawal, and that people have finally come around to his point of view.
He exuded competence and graceful confidence. This is a man comfortable with his accomplishments and his mission.
Good job, JK!

Also, tie fans will like his attire. :) (pale pink, Vineyard Vines style. My TV screen isn't big enough to offer more details than that).

6. That sounds great
It is wonderful that he can honestly say he was and is on the forefront of two of the biggest issues. (3 when you count the financial crisis - his foreclosure provision was out there before others and the anti-predatory loans bill he cosponsored was another case of being right.)

i hope they do have a link to this.

7. oh, he talked about that, too.
how he and the Dems fought for a plan YEARS ago, but the Repubs filibustered. . .and only at the eleventh hour, AFTER the foreclosures (which his/their bill was designed to prevent) did the Repubs come around. He also talked about how the Dems introduced responsible amendments (no bonuses to CEOs, help with foreclosures, etc etc etc)
He covered all the bases.

8. It really sounds like a nice interview
So Kerry has credidentials on the 3 major issues facing the country and Beatty wants to destroy Massachusetts with an irresponsible tax cut and he thinks that MA will be upset that only 2/5 of Teresa's homes are in MA.
