The message behind McCain's "Celeb" ad, Schumer said, was, "He's not one of us, he's a celebrity, he's an elitist".

"That's what they did with John Kerry," Schumer said, adding, "I would have been a little tougher."

This is exactly what Schumer (and quite a few other Dems) are about.

Even in the Senate, he often talks loud, but, when he needs to lead, he is just afraid of rocking the boat (Alito filibuster, Musakey,...).

7. Smuck Shumer was never a favorite of mine, that he would say this

doesn't surprise me. He doesn't have to worry, I think most people would find him unappealing and not at all Presidential material.
