Inspired readers line up to greet senator at bookstore
Ferrell was part of a crowd of about 350 who greeted Kerry at the bookstore. U.S. Rep. Tom Udall, D-N.M., showed up, as did Gilbert Armenta and Tweeti and Linn Blancett, New Mexico ranchers featured in Kerry's book.

Kerry said he and his wife wrote the book because they were frustrated about the way many people inaccurately perceived the environmental movement.

Udall said he has read several excerpts from the work and thinks it is great. Through sales of the book, Udall said, Kerry is helping to put together a broad coalition to fight environmental problems

....

Lara Martinez, district manager for Borders, said sales of the book were "fast and furious" all day.

4. I got my copy the other day from Amazon.
It's sitting there waiting for me to dive into it. From the comments I've heard about it, I want to start it when I have a good chunk of time to just read.

5. You'll be surprised, I think, at what an easy read it is.
It's not that there isn't intellectual info there - there's plenty of that - but the storytelling is very good.

You can pick it up for a half hour and probably get through a coherent piece of it, and set it down til your next opportunity.

I read it in 20-minute snips of commuter transit rides.
