Disgusting. Bill O'Reilly used a tragedy in my city as a "political cheap shot"

I just can't believe this. I heard some about this in the morning on the radio. Basically, two teenage girls were killed by a drunk driver, who it ended up he was an illegal immigrant and had a previous charge on his record. This was in Virginia Beach. Luckily, Geraldo Rivera, of all people, smacked Bill O' down (watch the video):

it's such phony outrage. OMG , did you hear the drunk driver was an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. as if it's worse than if they weren't. and as if it has anything to do with things.

2. I know -- the crime of DRUNK DRIVING is far worse than being

undocumented. And there are 11 million illegal immigrants in our country -- how precisely are they supposed to be ALL deported? And even when they are deported, New Bedford, MA shows us how DHS got it all wrong and created another tragedy.

Thing is there is major anti-immigrant sentiment in my community. I put up a post on my local blog. I may get attacked very badly, even though I said it was a complex issue and so forth.

This is all very ugly.

The mayor (Oberndorf),and judge (Whitehurst) that O'Reilly says he's "gonna get" are Democrats?

Or is he so whacked out on this that he's even going after his own side?

Not that it should matter...I'm just wondering if it does.

Not sure about the judge in Chesapeake. Many Dems in the area have spoken out that the judge did screw up because the guy was convicted of DUI before, but that this was not the mayor's fault at all. And it ends up there were some immigration reform bills in the General Assembly for which a REPUBLICAN killed (hmmm ... I doubt Bill O' will bring that up). But here's my point -- he's not a journalist. It's one thing if you watched an informative show and learned all the intricate laws, what could have been done better, etc. But that's not how he operates -- he uses the "scalping" approach, and all the nuance gets lost.

I saw today's newspaper and there's a big picture of the father of one of the victims begging that people not use her death as a "political football" -- what a brave and classy soul he is. Grieving, and yet asking people stop this insanity. I think Bill O' deserves a "worst person in the world" for exploiting this. Beyond disgusting. There actually ARE issues with illegal immigrants, but I wind up defending them as a whole because the hate mongers are so nasty. Obviously, I don't defend drunk drivers, but I am afraid that some kind of witch hunt will ensue around these parts with Bill O's incendiary language.
