Poll question: Will the 2008 election talk burn out the average voter?
No, I am not bored, just noticing things.

It's is getting more and more like a soap opera or political version of American Idol everyday. And it's only February 2007. :hide:

1. Well, it burned me the hell out,
and I love voting. For whatever that's worth.

2. It hasn't gotten old. It's just not what I've expected.

It's too early, and yet you'd think it's in the crunch time for these candidates. The media is treating it like the election is sooner then it is, and trying to pick our nominee for us in a sense. They are playing on the show side of Presidential politics, and we've got no meaningful debate just yet.

4. The burn out factor will be very very high
It is already incredibly nasty and way too intense - and the first primary is a year away. Hillary sounds shriller by the day, Edwards already has 3 positions on what he thought when he voted for the IWR - 2 while speaking with wide open blue eyes, Obama is sissing my whole age group.

The good news is that most people aren't listening and so aren't as burned out as I am. The bad news is that all of this is on tape - ready to be made into Y-tubes. That the best man is out adds to my disinterest, but I don't even want to think of who to choose of the rest - it's too early and there's a lot of things to happen in the next year. I hope I can at least be happy to vote in the primary.

So, it on to issues - not personalities.
