Right Wing Blog Watch: Doctored Photos and Videos

Jules Crittenden has a blurb on his blog this morning about John Kerry’s trip to the Middle East and links to a post from Curt at Flopping Aces, claiming that Curt has “got some great footage of Kerry annoying some Marines.” Kerry annoying some Marines? WTF kind of misinformation is that?

It’s a PhotoShop’d animated GIF, with no link to the original photo. The doctored animated GIF is followed by ridiculous YouTube compilation that totally distorts Kerry’s statements and positions. Reading the rightwing blogs is a lesson in understanding the fact that there are some really juvenile bloggers out there who have far too much time on their hands and nothing better to do but create doctored photos and videos to push lies in the blogosphere.

Jules Crittenden is a prime example of this. A columnist for the Boston Herald, Crittenden has taken to blogging recently where he pushes lies and misinformation that the editors for the rag he works for no doubt, won’t publish.

It is disgusting that he is no at leasty reprimanded on this typr of garbage. Senator Kerry, whether he likes him or not, is one of his state's Senators - and he got over 81% of the vote.
