3. Was this broadcast anywhere?
Anyone have a video? A summary?

I just noticed it's about 2:00 eastern time. I'd love to hear what he had to say.

6. Saying what?
Let me guess: it's a last desperate attempt to revive his hopeless presidential aspirations. :sarcasm:

How did I do?

8. His is taking the trip for several reasons, and if one of them is to reach out
to our soldiers then I see nothing wrong with this. It is more than I have seen Bush, Chaney or even McCain do. I want to see anyone of those chickens ventrue outside the Green Zone.

9. not perzackly. but...
They were contrasting him against Edwards and implying that one was likeable, the other not, yet neither had a real chance. On the other paw, they did point out that he had as much money in the campaign bank as Hillary and hinting that he might make a viable run for the roses.

So who the heck knows what their actual point was, other than just to fill the requisite 3.6 minutes of air time with meaningless yammering before it was time to cut to a commercial for useless products now on sale at a Greed*Mart near you?

5. I've been swamped at work, but
I'd guess NECN will have something by this evening: http://www.boston.com/news/necn/

And Tay, if you're here, this one's for you:

BREAKING NEWS: NECN's Chris Collins has learned that the Red Sox have signed japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka to a six-year deal worth $8.5 million per year, totaling $52 million. The deal will be completed upon physical.

Well, he might have as an off-hand comment. He does tlak about the Red Sox a lot. Bet he wonders about the payroll as well.)

12. And Red Sox nation
breathed a deep sigh of relief (as did Theo, I'm sure.) :-)

He must really be something. I guess we'll see soon enough. The press will be recording every breath at spring training.

7. I checked all the channels at 1.30
Other than a small background clip on Rita Cosby of what might have been the press conference as she was interviewing two pundits, there wasn't anything.

15. Thanks for the video!
He's got such a peaceful manner, don't you think? Even when he's being firm or even the times he's seemed angry or fiery, there's an inner core of peace. I like that.
