OT: but I have to share my excitement
From Salon:

Schumer is in Washington, but he's talking about Arizona. According to National Journal's Hotline, Schumer's DSCC will release a memo today in which its pollsters say that Democrat Jim Pederson is leading Republican incumbent Jon Kyl by four percentage points among Arizona residents who have participated in early voting there. Schumer's response: Buy as much TV time as possible in Phoenix and Tucson in the hopes of picking up another Senate seat and/or building some protection in case something goes south somewhere else.

Bill Clinton was here today - (didn't get to go). And even Wolf Blitzer was talking about it.

So exciting. My feelings for Kyl are worse than my feelings for *
:bounce:

We also have a real close race here for the House.

I'm dreaming of a BLUE Arizona.

4. Wow! There were a couple of them over there
Haven't seen them on TV.
One thing weird is that they don't say Pederson's name.

Who cares - Pederson is A.b.b.K!
(anybody but Kyl)

6. Do you really think so??
I've been seeing those reports but I just thought it was some kind of hopeful thinking. What's your feeling on the ground there? Really a blue Arizona??? That would be totally totally awesome. Then we'd just have to work on NV and ID and the west would be won!! (Or one, or oh it's sappy anyway)

10. WOW
As an ex-Arizonan, I know this is truly monumental. When I lived there, the Dems couldn't even mount any candidate at ALL against Kyl. It was so depressing. .
