where are the big (and not so big) name f....ing Democrats? Did ANYONE speak up in his defense? Maybe they did, I was very busy yesterday (and had a miserable and hugely disappointing day altogether), and I am only now trying to catch up.

4. I think that this really came from his gut (for once).

He was speaking personally, and not just about strategy. I was at the Veterans for Kerry rally at the 2004 Dem Convention, and Carville spoke there. (Carville was once a Marine (doesn't this just FIT?!)).
I'm sure he not only knows, but cares, what Kerry has done for veterans.
I think he takes the chickenhawks personally.
(So did all the veterans at that rally: boy, was there deep emotion there. . .)

I usually don't trust Carville, but I think he spoke for real this time.
