3. McCain blasting Kerry
I guess Kerry made some kind of statement about poor people, uneducated serving in Iraq.
McCain calling it an insult to our soldiers that are over there fighting to give people the right to say insensitive remarks like that.

Ugh - what's the scoop?!

No Kerry yet, played his soundbite, and now he's being slammed.
They are now talking about Iraq.

13. Andrea Mitchell: Kerry his own worst enemy!
Not them playing something that's out of context. They ignore all the good things he's done, and when he misses one word ("us"), he's told it's all his fault, and that he's a caricature.

21. Andrea needs to get it straight. Some journalist. She doesn't even
get the facts, just jumbs on the smear wagon. Like Tay says, she can "bite me".

14. heard it on the radio
on my way to work. NPR had nothing interesting (I feel the need to apologize) and I was listening to one of the right-wing "radio personalities", Neil B.... something. And this was the theme, the horrible thing Kerry has said, how the "punishment" for not getting a good education is that you end up in Iraq. I obviously do not remember the direct quote, but it sounds pretty bad. Not the most careful thing for him to say. ANd now I get a chance to see what's going on, and am getting quite apprehensive of the long time repercussions of this small faux pas. It's something that will be remembered and thrown in his face in the future. He NEEDS to come up with a good explanation!

20. I am SO RELIEVED that went so well! CNN does seem
to be defending Kerry despite that wench Buchanan. Julian Epstein (?), Bay's counterpart, compared all the crap that spews out of dimson's mouth compared to a weak joke by Kerry, and thinks there's no need for an apology either.
