Another bash of Kerry by kos on another thread
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/10/24/15539/825

read the part in the gray box, and kos' comment above it.

That's it - combined with his earlier post, I'd say kos is declaring war.

I don't know what JK or other non-"kos-certified" pols are going to do about it, but I would say kos has declared war on anyone who doesn't fit into his idea of "good Democrat."

The Democratic Party sure as hell'd better figure out something to do about it. Because it won't stop at Kerry.

1. I've called out kos by name in GDP
Edited on Tue Oct-24-06 03:44 PM by Firespirit
I have a feeling it's going to get nasty, and this type of thread may not even be permitted. Thanks in advance! ;)

13. Thanks Firespirit that's a great post
BTW, does the "calling another member out by name" really apply to Kos?
Ironically John Kerry is a member and Kos has no problem calling him out by name.
I think once you are a public figure that's sort of off the table.

2. How come he didn't mention Hillary?
So that eliminates everyone, really. Only Gore would pass muster. Kos isn't into Clarke or Feingold.

Fuck what's he going to do? Support a 3rd party candidate?

3. This is an outing of sorts. He loses credibility now because he
is so obviously unreasonable over Kerry. He is biased and it shows in a big way.
So, the ugly pimple has emerged.

I think Wade should call his bluff and post something, just to call the little shit out.

In which case, he should bring it on.

8. Yes.
He really did expose himself today. That's one good thing.

5. Kos has turned into a bully
and a little tin god who thinks his shit don't stink. He needs to be taken down a peg before he starts taking good Democrats down in his useless and hurtful vendettas.

I wonder who is paying him now to do this stuff, I really do.

for these phony Democratic organizations (they need to keep better company, i.e., Democrats that don't swiftboat other Democrats):

The fact that he'd leave that post up, without apology (his update was merely a further fuck you) after it was pretty well proven - by any sane judgment - to be a LIE - tells you how far gone he is.

The good news - and I think this really is good news - is that he got called on his bullshit - and called loud and clear. In the last election cycle the throng would have been mostly cheering sycophants. There's no question at all that opinion on Kerry has turned a sharp corner. Any impartial observer would have to recognize how hard he has worked and how hard he is listening.

And the bullshit Kos spouts to cover his ass about how he's not a role model? Complete garbage. He envies those Washington insiders he's always railing about. He's got a Napoleon complex. He wants to be a playah.

I'd like to know who's paying him too. But he'd do it only for the hate, I'm convinced. He's a fucking vindictive tinpot dictator.

14. You're right
He wants us to support his people because he wants himself to be more influential ... and he's still mad that his influence didn't help out Dean at all in 2004
He cares way more about himself then the Democratic Party, or the American people for that matter

9. How about THIS talking point to take that asshole down:
Kos has no current position on the war (0 / 0)

When has he EVER embraced what Murtha, Kerry, Feingold, and other Democrats have been saying about how to get out of Iraq? Kos stands for nothing but himself. He loves bashing Dems who voted yes for the IWR, but when has he offered one damned solution to the problem? Never. His purpose seems to be just bashing Dems he hates, not on principle, but on personal vendettas. It just makese me sick.

I look forward to that discussion -- Markos is more interested in a Democratic blood bath, than to actually END the real bloodbath. And saying he was against it in the first place still doesn't answer the question as to how we get out of there.

11. It is a uneven playing field there
I made a lot of petulant posts on Kos's latest attack (Kerry should be ashamed thread) and they were troll rated off the diary. I can understand the need for moderation but they were no more hostile than the posts they dont remove.

Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 10:25 AM by demdiva
The elections are coming up and he takes on a strong democrat that's not for running anything AND is supporting a lot of democratic candidates. This guy is only out for himself.
