Dear GV,
There are only 48 days left until you and other Pennsylvania voters go to the polls to make decisions that will shape your state, your country, and your world.
Before you give our candidates your vote, I'm hoping you'll give them your time.
I'm writing because Bob Casey needs your volunteer support in his down-to-the-wire race against Republican incumbent Senator Rick Santorum, a Bush rubber stamp who votes with the President 98% of the time... because Ed Rendell deserves your help in his gubernatorial reelection campaign... and because strong House candidates across Pennsylvania need your help in their races to represent you in Congress. Democrats need you to frustrate Karl Rove's dream of turning Pennsylvania red.
Can you possibly volunteer between now and election day to help the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and your Democratic candidates?

But, you can't share any of those things unless you first choose to give of your time.
Want to express your determination to end the failed "stay-the-course" Bush approach to Iraq? Then please spend a few hours supporting Bob Casey.
Want to join the fight to improve education at all levels, make health care more affordable for all of Pennsylvania's citizens, and create a strong economy that keeps jobs at home instead of shipping them abroad? Then offer to help Ed Rendell and your Democratic Congressional candidates.
Want to make sure Republican scare tactics don't turn the promise of victory into the shock of defeat in these final weeks? Then sign up to volunteer with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.

We've always known that the November 7 elections are going to be vitally important. But, each day that passes reminds us just how essential these elections are to the institutions of democracy, to the protection of our national security and environment, and to the future of our families.
I know it isn't easy to find a few hours to make phone calls, drop leaflets, send out emails or attend campaign events in your community. But, I also know how committed you are to winning -- for the candidates who've worked so hard, for the state that you call home, and for the country that you love.
Let's dig deep. Let's work our hearts out during these final 48 days of this campaign. And let's celebrate like there's no tomorrow when we bring our candidates home to victory on that first Tuesday in November.
Sincerely,
John Kerry
P.S. My political action committee, Keeping America's Promise, is dedicated to electing Democrats like Bob Casey and Ed Rendell up and down the ticket in 2006. You can support our efforts to take back Congress and chart a new course for our country.
