3. is it a public event ?
even if it is i probably can't attend. had oral surgery on Friday which was worse than i thought and half my face is puffy.

i hope the local news covers it and hope to see reviews (and pics of course) from others.

4. Are you OK?
I remember having my wisdom teeth out and it was a bitch.
Hope you feel better soon.

5. this wasn't wisdom teeth so not as bad
Edited on Sat Sep-16-06 06:19 PM by JI7
i had those out years ago when i was 16, and yeah, the worst thing ever. especially since my wisdom teeth were not visible so they had to cut through to get them.

this is a little different. an xray at during a regular dental visit showed something attached to one of my regular teeth which they believe to be a piece of a baby tooth. they said it needs to be removed because of infection risks.

but the surgeon had a hard time with it and wasn't able to remove it. he said he couldn't see it but the xray which they did again showed it was there. i think they thought it would be a simple procedure but they had to cut through more .

but it's not nearly as bad as the removal of the wisdom teeth. but they did give some pills to fight infection and for pain relief. the pills made me pass out while i was walking and i hit my head and back on something . it was weird because i don't even remember it happening. last thing i remember was i felt dizzy. when i woke up i thought i was just in bed sleeping as usual. didn't even know i was on the ground. my mom was there though so it was ok.

but since they couldn't remove the piece of baby tooth i'm not sure if i will have to do anything else. i'm going for a checkup this Friday and i guess they will tell me then whether i need to have the surgery agian, maybe with a different surgeon who has done it before.

but overall, i'm ok. it's just weird i passed out since that type of stuff never happened before. i hate feeling weak like that. thanks for asking GV.

6. Yikes!
That sounds awful.
Wonder why they believe it might cause infection? I actually still have three baby teeth, believe it or not. The adult teeth are 'congenitally missing', so I never lost the babies. Weird, huh?
Good luck and just my .02 - I would consider a second opinion before allowing any more work. Just a thought.

No doubt there will be plenty of media there and hopefully good coverage. I don't know if the Pepperdine speech is public, Im told it's a special theme they invited him to speak on.

8. Very much so!
I hope the good Senator is 'on' and that he gives a great speech, as we have seen him do recently. I am thrilled that he is stumping for Angelides as well.

Will go to the Dem Daily Monday for more!
