1. That movie came out BASED on 4 YEARS of books blaming Clinton for 9-11

and Clinton never answered any of the charges made in those books and didn't take any legal action. That is how the lie that Dems are weak on terror got started and why it flourished. Every dem candidate was necklaced with that meme thanks to Clinton not refuting the charges for FIVE YEARS by the time this movie came out.

That tactic worked so well for the GOPs against Clinton's reputation they put up the swifts.

Though not as wel as you have. You are absolutely right - the Clintons really countered none of that and it has been constant on talk radio - at least since 2002.

They have no idea that the Clinton war room would have burned to the ground in 2004. All they did was get out the best response they could in the same news cycle. Kerry did that as well. It's also easier to have canned responses to charges you know can come out - because they were true, though possibly overstated. They threw up counter charges or diversions.

Kerry WAS a war hero, a principled anti-war hero, and a commendable public servant. There were no major flaws. There's something to be said for a guy whose ex-wife supported him 100%.
