Where is piranha lately
Anyone heard from piranha? I miss some of these voices when they are gone.

4. Hi!
I'm having a real rough summer.

This little sweetie:

has been in the hospital since 7/9 with severe pancreatitis. Out of the blue, fine one day & screaming in agony the next.
My other daughter happens to be doing a research paper on Stem Cells. And of course, she shows me the section in one of her research books on how a pancreas can be cured from stem cells - you will never know how I felt when the idiot in chief blocked legislation.
I also lost my dad - it has been rough.

I do check in here when I can & I'll tell you, that Kerrymagic is a blessing at times like this.
I have gone thru some heartbreaking days, walked in the parking lot & saw a Kerry sticker, and smiled.
Or recorded him when I knew he was going to be on tv (thanks to all of you!) & it gave me something to look forward to when I got home.

Keep posting...even tho I'm not, I am reading:grouphug:

5. Oh darlin, I'm so sorry to hear about this
I'm sending the biggest hug I can give. (Both for you and for your daughter.)

I am so relieved to hear from you (you know how us moms worry) and so sad to hear of these awful things you have to go through at this time. I dearly hope things get better with your daughter and my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad.

If it would be all right, the next pic thread is for you!

Be well and check in when you can. You are missed.

:loveya:   :pals: :grouphug:

I can't even imagine having a daughter in the hospital for two months. I hope that things get much better soon. Thinking of you.

12. I can only add my
me too here. There is absolutely nothing worse than having to watch your child suffer. I hope she'll be well soon, and that your life will get back to something close to normal, though, sadly, without your father.

13. I am so sorry.
I'm really sorry to hear about your dad and I hope your daughter is doing better. That stem cell veto was so pointless and heartless.

If it is any consolation, the tide may be changing. My brother, a staunch Republican, told me after that veto that he was NH's newest Democrat. My brother has Parkinson's. Many other people were also disgusted with that. The next time it comes up for a vote, I don't think Bush will be able to veto it.

I hope you saw Kerry on "Road to the White House" because that was something to smile about. If you haven't, I'm sure there will be a link to download the video soon. The smile he delivers near the end will melt your heart.

That old black Kerrymagic is a balm for the soul and he's more magical than ever.

Take care. You are missed.

8. You know - it is unbelievable
that I checked the greatest page, and the #1 thread is about a DUer with
pancreatic cancer. Dam this administration for stopping medical research!

I can't wait until we get those "republicants" out of office &
get help to the people that need it.
