2. He makes me sick
and using Republican talking points to boot. What a sleazy rat bastard, I dislike him more and more as each day passes.

I just found this on of all places Kyl's re-election site.

Senator McCain said that supporting the Reed-Levin Amendment was equivalent to supporting a premature withdrawal of our troops. In his statement on the Senate Floor, McCain said that support for the amendment was ?a significant step on the road to disaster? because it called for ?a withdrawal of American troops tied to arbitrary timetables, rather than conditions in-country.? He continued, ?Draw-downs must be based on conditions in-country, not an arbitrary deadline rooted in our domestic politics.? . Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman confirmed, ?The Levin amendment directs that a withdrawal of American troops from Iraq begin by the end of this year, 2006, without regard to the conditions on the ground.? . http://www.jonkyl.com/press/062706.aspx

3. I have no use for him.
From the time he gave that despicable speech on the Senate floor through today, he has shown nothing but contempt for the Democratic Party. He is a major-league jerk!

4. Latest Lieberman Outrage
Yesterday he campaigned with Republicans.

Today he refused to back Democrats running for Congress in CT:

6. and you know what else?
Now my RW parents think Joe's a good guy! My parents are my "propaganda-o-meter": from what they are telling me, I can tell that FOX and whatever other wingnut media they watch have been portraying Joe as a good, wonderful, honest man who's been "wronged" by his party! It is so obvious what's going on, but they are clueless and don't see it.

The kicker: my mom even wrote to me that he'd make a good president in 2008!! Wow--the RW media must be really laying it on thick for them to think this!!!

7. Of course RW parents would
I find it amusing when one Republican friend thinks he is showing how nonpartisan he is when he tells me that if Lieberman was running for President he could vote for him. Like that surprises me that a (fellow?) Republican would vote for him.

8. that's it exactly
The reason they are bringing it up with me is because they think that I will approve of them liking a Democrat--shows how nonpartisan they are, as you said. Like now we are all on the same page! All I can say to that is ha-ha-ha. Of course I don't because they are my parents and old, so I'm polite.
