I have voted for Mickey Mouse and other cartoon characters in races that offered only a GOP choice. I thought about more creative choices but "Mickey Mouse" is used as an insult and I intended it to be a message that carried a bit of insult.
when I read his speech "A Prayer for America." After that, I checked out his website and read Studs Terkel's interview done back when Dennis was mayor of Cleveland and thought "This man needes to run for president."
a scheduled giving subscription. I don't know if I'll be able to vote for him. Depends if he stays in the race until my primary which is well beyond the early stacked part of the primaries. So I'm also checking on a second fall back candidate. Here's hoping he will gather strength and support. Democratic candidates from now on will have to earn my vote as my attitude is hardening and it can't be taken for granted anymore.

if we are to remainn viable on the earth. continued escalation of war making brings us to a predictable consequence of destruction of earth's life sustaining capabilities. dennis gets this. now the challenge is for him to help the rest of us "get it".
i was honored to serve him and his campaign with my money and time during the last election cycle (proud Kucinich delegate) and i intend to do so again.
