A Kucitizen is running in the 40th (CALIF) for Congress
She is Christina Avalos, and she agrees with Dennis on all the issues. She worked on his Presidential campaign in 04 and spoke at one of his rallies. She'd be a great backup for him in Congress. The main problem is that high level people in the DPOC (Democratic Party of Orange County) want Royce (a pro-business, right-wing Republican) to win, and they keep pushing bogus candidates into running against Christina in the primary. The reason for this is that Christina is the only one who has ever run a real campaign against Royce. A high level official in the Democratic Party officially endorses Royce in every election. If Christina gets the nomination, she stands a good chance of beating Royce, this time, and we'll get another liberal Democrat in Congress. If a bogus candidate is nominated, Royce is guaranteed a victory. Christina has the support of most of the Kucinizens in the area. Hopefully, she'll get the nomination.
