Baby chicks: the good, the bad and the ugly
Good blog post about the trials and tribulations of getting baby chicks in the mail.

Well written.

2. i picked my assorted "box-o- chicks" at the post office
i walked in and they were chirping away. it was summer so they did`t have any problems. i really miss living in the country. the only birds i have now are finches and conures. maybe next year i`ll sneak a couple of small hens in the back yard.

4. Thanks.
There really is nothing cuter than day old chicks.

We got ours from the feed store last year.
We lost a bunch due to a respiratory infection.
It was heartbreaking.
We now have 7 healthy hens and a pugnacious Rooster.
We were hoping for chicks this Summer, but it didn't happen.

We love our birds.
They are intelligent and engaging, with surprisingly different personalities.
