No wonder network TV is going down the toilet
FOX TV is the latest network to sabatoge a hit. Glee is a certified hit. Great ratings, great buzz. So what does Fox do? No episodes from Dec 9 to Apr 13 and then it is against Lost's final year. Gee, what a brilliant strategy. Oh, and it won't start on time, ever, thanks to following the vapid Idol. Then they will whine and cry when the show goes down the crapper. NBC is already on the fast train to crapville. Southland cancelled due to lack of space on their schedule (thanks to Leno) and Trauma was cancelled and now merely delayed.

1. Trauma!
That is one of the few good new ones. Stupid people. I suppose it is too expensive to make.

2. they brought it back from the dead for a reprieve
but I am not holding out hope given that NBC has been determined to make as many bad decisions as possible.

3. That Leno show had to be one of the worst decisions ever.
I burned out on Leno years ago. He is just not all that funny or entertaining in any way. His first decision was to retire. He should have stuck with that.

4. It was totally stupid
First it cost them Southland, one of the few semi hits they had last season (they can't air Southland before 10 since it is too dark). Soon they will have the same problem with any new drama they might decide to air. Plus Leno is just plain not that funny. NBC's primetime is down to 10 weekday hours of which two are Law and Order series, leaving 8. The only remotely sucessful night they have is Thursday. Hard to believe this is the network of Hill Street Blues, St Elsewhere, LA Law, and ER. Not to mention Golden Girls, Cosby, Cheers and Fraiser.

8. Cost has little to do with it
only 5 million people watch

it gets a 1.6/4 in 18-49, that is dollhouse bad

5. Don't worry about Southland
TNT picked it up and will be broadcasting the old and new episodes next year. As for Glee, I enjoy the program, and seriously is FOX they're trying to murder their own series?

6. I am glad TNT picked it up
it goes well with the Closer so it should be a good fit. I am guessing we will have to wait several months for new episodes as they rerun the ones that were aired last year.

11. They're moving it to Tuesday nights opposite Lost?
Is that confirmed?

If so, yes, that is incredibly DUMB. A lot of Lost fans have been watching Glee since Lost is on hiatus anyhow. They will NOT watch Glee instead of Lost's final season. They may DVR it, but that doesn't help ratings. That's just really really stupid of FOX.

13. Never mind... yes, confirmed. Link below:

This is ridiculous. And yeah, you're right; it will be damn near impossible to DVR because of Idol, too. No way to set it to record on time when Idol may run over. STUPID.
