Anyone watch 30 Rock?
I'm new to this group, so first I should say hi! :hi:

I caught 30 Rock here and there throughout the season but for some reason I missed a lot of shows. To be honest, I'm not sure when it was on...that might be the first of the problems in catching it!

Anyway, what I did see was very funny, so I rented the DVDs when they came out this past Tuesday. I think it may be the funniest show I've seen in a very long time! The writing and the acting are both superb. The cast is ideal and works so well together. I'm not at all surprised it got 8 Emmy nominations, including best comedy series, best actor in a comedy series and best actress in a comedy series. I hope it wins several at least so others will tune in as well.

Anyway, wanted to see if there were any other fans out there. And, wanted to encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to take a peek!!

1. Yes, it's one that we record every week when the season is going on.
In the beginning, I didn't like it as much as my husband but we kept watching and I'm glad I did. I tend to work on other things while I watch TV and I miss a lot. This is the kind of comedy that works best if you pay attention! :D

2. I love 30 Rock
I think that it has one of the very best casts and writing on TV. When Alec Baldwin had his problems in the press a few months ago, he wanted out of his contract. He didn't want to work on the show at all anymore. But from what I've read, they wouldn't let him out. Hopefully he's come around and will get back into character. I couldn't imagine the show without him. I watched a lot of the reruns this summer and found that it's even funnier on the second viewing!
I can't wait until the new season begins. :hi:
