Survivor Fiji - Episode 11 Discussion Thread - NO SPOILERS
Wow. I learned a few things last night. First, I have never seen dumber survivors than I did in the battleship game. My god. How many hit themselves with their first move or second move. What a bunch of dumbasses. Second, I love Yaoman. He is so smart and cool under pressure. Third, Earl is going to win this game.

I was glad ot see Mookie go. He was getting to be a bit of a complainer. Once the alliance fails, I love watching everyone complain about back stabbing. Like they did not stab Dreamz in the back when he was not told of the idol. Alex made a good move and saved himself.

The mud catch challenge was fun to watch. Cassandra is hell on wheels. She was great. I loved when she dropped a choke hold on Earl. Dreamz was very good in the game. Boo's injury was nasty. I have torn both of my ACLs. His was just "popped out of place", but I have done that a few times myself. It is painful until it "pops back in" and then the pain is just tolerable. He had a rough night I am sure. It was scummy of Alex and Mookie to go through Yau-man's things. I think it did very little damage, but YAo's first mistake might have been to voice that he may not need it for the next two votes. Clearly they want to vote out the two horseboys next, but still that was not smart. I loved Cassandra and Stacy listening in to the plan. Alex and Mookie made a poor choice to blackmail Yao.

All in all, a good episode.

1. I'm pulling for Alex now just because he's the underdog

and Yau-man second. That little jerk Stacy needs to go, saying that Mookie and Alex are lucky to be fed, and she gets uptight because they found the idol in Yau's bag? Puh-lease.

Based on the previews for next week, I think we'll see Alex in a good position. Dreamz is already thinking ahead to the next 3 votes and where he stands, it's not good for him. I think he can pull Cassandra from Earl and maybe pick up Boo to have a strong alliance with Alex. Alex is a free agent right now and needs to write a sign that says "WILL VOTE FOR FOOD".

Yau may have made a fatal error in saying he won't need it for the next few rounds, I think he's getting a bit to comfortable with his alliance and needs to make sure it's strong.

I just can't stand Stacy for stabbing Alex in the back after he saved her hide. Talk about ungreatful. I see Dreamz going pretty soon because they will question his loyalty considering he played both sided and he's a physical threat.

EDIT: That knee popping back in sounded like that hurt pretty bad.

2. I think Earl and Cassandra are rock solid
at least until the final three. If I were Earl, I would stick with Yao as well, who seems very honorable and not likely to stab him in the back. If Earl can cinvicne Dreamz he is in the final three with Earl and Cassandra, maybe even play up the racial identity and how good it will be to have three african americans in the final three. I think Earl can do it, which is why I picked Earl to win now. I se eEarl in the driver's seat and its his to lose. I suspect Alex will go home next unless he wins immunity. If he does, I suspect it will be Boo. Don't put too much into that Cassandra/Stacy team. I think Cassandra is playing her. My dark horse to win the whole thing is now Cassandra. If this goes to the final three with Dreamz, Earl and Cassandra, Cassandra may just win it all. My prediction is that Earl leads Yaoman, Dreamz and Cassandra into the final four and they pick off Alex, Boo and Stacy in that order.

3. Unless Dreamz can convince Cassandra
to switch over and overthrow "The Godfather" (earl). Earl is in a fragile spot this coming week I think because he is calling all the shots and is a physical threat. It all depends on how ballsy the others are at this point. It should be fun.

6. I think he is not "calling" the shots
He was smart to back off this week and let Boo and Stacy's insane idea about splitting the votes go through. It took him out of the leadership role and gave them both a sense that they have far more to say about the group than he does. I think this was part of his plan to stay in control, but let others think he is not in control.

10. I think so too.
Cassandra was my DU pick...not my first but I'm glad I ended up with her.:)

I think Earl or Yaman will win. Yaman is terrific! Who would of guessed him to go to this far and maybe win? Actually, that's a good question, who here has Yawman as their DU pick?

Mookie and Alex committed a great Taboo.....:grr:

11. ME!!!
I picked him not expecting much, but his Bio seemed really interesting. Now I am feeling pretty lucky. Though I think he will lose to Earl. Earl is playing one of the best games I have seen. He is quiet, but dominating.

4. I'm out...the only surprise is that Mookie lasted this long!
I don't understand how that blackmail was supposed to work: They threatened to tell everyone Yau-man had the idol unless Yau-man did what?

I think Alex will get eliminated next, then Dreamz, unless they get immunity. That is my prediction but I've never been right yet!

5. I think they were under the impression that he didn't tell anyone
else about the idol and there would be a mad dash from his team to get rid of it in their long term interests. Little did they know that Earl, Cassandra and Yau were all in on it. If I were the others I would be questioning my loyalty to them since I was left out of the loop.

7. I thought I'd be out when Boo went down with his knee
Deja vu...it's how I lost the contest the last time, too. If you want someone to be injured, let me pick him/her in the contest. :D

What was Boo thinking when he was sure the idol had been found without the clue? Paranoid much? I thought the idol was Exile Island when he read the clue. I thought at first he might have found it and was trying to dispel suspicion but it didn't seem that way as things played out.

8. I didn't know the human body could make a sound like it did
when Boo got back up..gave me the willies!

I couldn't figure out why he thought someone had found the idol, either. Boo's a bit hard to figure out...is he laying low on purpose or is he just not as aggressive as some of the others?

9. I think he was just trying to cover all the bases because
other than Mookie and Alex his was the only name written. He's not that dumb. I like the way he's playing it right now, lay low and make his move.

14. Is there a rule that forbids stealing?
I was astonished that they didn't just take Yaoman's idol! Unless there's a kick-off rule about it, why wouldn't they have done that?

I remember one episode where someone's shoes were stolen and there were no repercussions.
