The Amazing Race: All Stars, Episode 3 discussion...
Rob and Amber are 3 for 3, they are here to win. I am so happy the hillbillies are gone. The were getting on my last nerve, I hope Mirna and Schmerna are next. They do everything to implode they don't need any help from anyone else to lose.

I felt bad for Uchena and Joyce when they couldn't get tickets for everybody else because of the CC security code. I could tell they felt terrible about it, but the other teams seemed to understand the mix up.

1. Romber are GREAT
Rob and Amber make me laugh. I was cheering against them for most of the episode again last night. I love to hate them SO MUCH! They make the show fun. I love how everyone is focused on them. Amber held her own in the fish grab. She impresses me. If not for her poor taste in men, I might develop a crush on her.
Mirna and Schmerna have to go. They are such GIANT pains in the ass. I loved Team Guido last night. They are gonna do well, and they are fun to watch. I hope the models go next though. I dislike them more than Mirna and Schmerna.

3. Sorry Dr. S
My S.O. HATES Romber, and was cheering loudly tonight. They were not on their good behavior...and the show (probably was edited to) revealed that Kharma is a Bitch.

4. I am sad they are gone
I love to hate them. I think the show will be worse without them as the natural party to hate. Oh well.

5. Gotta love that karma!
I am so glad these obnoxious attention-grabbing idiots are gone.

Rob is just arrogant and obnoxious and Amber enables him. I certainly don't think of them as "America's sweethearts" as they were described on the CBS Morning Show today.

I cheered when Phil began "I'm sorry to say..." I was so afraid this would be a non-elimination leg.

Hooray!!!! A win for the good guys (even though I haven't decided who the good guys are yet.)

7. That was what did them in
If he realized that and fixed it, they probably would have come in 4th. Oh well. After that they teamed with the models to get to the next leg. They drove to the "end of the world" then took over a boat. They had a 20 minute lead of the annoying little person and more annoying bigger person and they had to find a letter to Rob and Amber in a giant mail bag. Rob found it too late.

9. You forgot that he went to the wrong address
Edited on Tue Mar-13-07 06:26 AM by MaineDem
Romber and the glamour twins bagged the roadblock they couldn't complete and went for the other one. When they got their compasses and instructions Rob said he knew where the address was and led them to the wrong place! Mirna and Smirna (sorry,, I can't remember her real name) went to the right place and gained a bit on Romber at that point but lost it later when Amber lied to them about the clue being down the path they were on in the woods. Romber beat them to the boat to the final clue but, as Dr S said above, it took Rob longer to find the mail and they were out. Too bad, so sad.

2. I hit "mute" everytime Charla and Mirna are on.
They drive me nuts! I was sorry to see David and Mary go. Physically, they were really outmatched. I'm a Rob/Amber fan but I'm rooting for Eric and Danielle!
