I fell asleep during "Without A Trace" last night. What happened?
The last thing I remember was the young man being "kidnapped"
by his wealthy friends and taken to a party in his honor.

1. He ended up dying in a car accident that night.
He was going to return the jewelry he had gotten for "favors." That's what was in that red bag he was carrying. His female friend, who said she had been clean for 5 (?) months, owed a dealer $5,000 and wanted some of the jewelry to pay him off. She grabbed for the wheel, or something, the car ran off the road and he was killed. She walked away but didn't tell anybody. The Dad ended up helping the shelter out in memory of his son.
