Desperate Housewives, who's your favorite character?
And why?

I love Bree, because she is so unflappable. I love the way she puts her children in check without raising her voice or even seeming like she is doing anything unpleasant to them. (i.e. scene in strip club w/ her son).

I also love Susan, because she is a clutz, the terrible luck she has and the wsy she finds herself in such bizarre and awkward situations.I really identify with her clutzy moments.

I love her relationship with her daughter, the way they are a team. The week they triumphed over the nosy neighbor that was blackmailing Susan was so cool. What they did to get that measuring cup back was just art, imo!

1. I can't really think of one
I have a love-hate relationship with Gabby. On one hand I can't stand that she's cheating on her hubby with a TEENAGER, on the other hand, I feel for her bc her mother-in-law is incredibly overbearing and annoying and needs to be put out of her misery.

I think that one who is hooked on her kids ADD meds is my favorite. Can't stand Susan that much and Bree is FINALLY starting to grow on me. She really was too Stepfordish in the beginning.

2. I like Susan
because she is klutzy and she seems naive and innocent and has such rotten luck. I also like Bree, didn't like her at first but now I kinda get where she is coming from. :-)

4. I like Susan, too.
Terri Hatcher is great in that role.

5. Agreed! Prior to this show, wasn't Teri Hatcher usually
cast as the bordering on bitchy character? I like her in this show, because you know she means well, is a good friend, mom, etc. in spite of the life snafu's.

I think it is funny that Nicolette Sheridan is cast as the trashy character. She's usually the socialite, ritzy type.

Such a fun show!

6. I think you're right.
But, she's proved she can do comedy. I loved the scene at the honky tonk where she tried to vamp it up - "Oh yeah! I'm going to ride that bull!" - and promptly got knocked out. Her character is just so innocent and unintentionally funny, and Teri pulls off so well, cliches and all.

7. Lynnette
I think her character really sums up the crap that so many career women put up with when they stay at home.

I like Susan, jury's out on Gabrielle, and Bree is just damn funny.

8. I am totally Susan.
So naturally I love her. :)

I hated Bree at first but now I just love her. Any woman who goes into a strip club to collect her son and then shames him by sitting there making comments on the women...just, sweet. I howled when the other guy sitting at the stage told the kid to leave "'cause your mom is ruining it for the rest of us!"

Right up there with Gabrielle mowing the lawn in an evening gown to cover for her boyfriend. Priceless.

10. How can you pick a favorite?
The characters are all great in their own way. I am really hooked on this show.
There is an interesting tidbit about the recently departed Mrs. Huber in the newest issue of TV Guide. Just got it in the mail today. Not saying what it is here though in case there are people that don't want to know.

12. Edie...hands down!
I've been a Nicolette Sheridan fan for years. I'll even sit through some of those Lifetime movies where she's in prison and such.

This role was perfect for her. I hope they plan to evolve (or involve) her character a bit more into the plotline.

13. Susan
She has the worst luck, which I seem to have a lot of too. In reality, I like them all.

14. Hatcher as Susan was a revelation
but my favorite character is actually Zach. He did a great job of being both creepy and innocent.
