Final Episode of Six Feet Under Coming...
Anyone see tonight's episode, the next to last episode? I thought it was GREAT with Claire spewing anti-Shrub, anti-war venom! She was ALL wound up! (with a lot of vodka and beer, but we won't go there)

The chartreuse hearse's demise was very significant for Claire, I think. I think it represents letting go of her past, and welcoming the future.

I have no idea where things are going with David however. Is he just going to flat-out lose his mind? It seems like that is what is happening. Keith is being very patient with him, but the previews from next week intimated that David feels like Keith is setting him up to leave him. I just don't know.

It hasn't been spoken, but are Ruth and George back together? It seems like she is sorta welcoming him 'home'. Tonight, she asked him if 'they' could raise Maya together.

Okay. WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON WITH BRENDA AND BILLY? 'This is what your penis would feel like if you had one'. I am speechless. Nate telling Brenda to move to Nova Scotia with Billy, raise the baby as their own, and tell everyone they are married. And it seems as if she is entertaining the idea! At least doing some serious fantasizing. I don't even know what else to add to this.

Good for Rico checking out the 'For Sale' Mausoleum. I thought he and Vanessa were great together tonight. Really connected to one another at last, and great with their boys.

Anybody else have any other insights as to where this all might be heading??

1. That scene with Billy and Brenda was really starting
to creep me out. I was so glad it turned out to be a dream, but it was still very, very creepy.

I agree about the demise of the hearse. It was such an important part of Clarie's persona and now it's gone. I also loved her rant. They've really brought politics into this final season. As soon as I saw that soldier missing three limbs at the outset of the show, I knew it was going to be a big political statement.

I think after last week that Ruth and George got back together. They really connected again last week.

I hope Brenda's baby is okay, but I'm not so sure she will be. I don't know how early this was for her to be having her, but I know she wasn't due yet.

Next week should be amazing -- I'm so sad that it's ending, though.

2. I watched the episode again last night, because I was fixing dinner
when it first aired, and I missed a lot. Anyway, on the 2nd viewing, when Billy comes into Brenda's bedroom and asks to touch her tummy, he says something like, 'She (the baby) wants to get out'. Brenda responds that she has 2 more months in there before she can get out. So that let the viewer know Brenda was 7 months along in her pregnancy. That's why she was so surprised when her water broke at Ruth's house.

Are you going to watch the 2 half hour programs that recap the entire series tonight at 7 and 7:30pmCST? They are going to have interviews with the entire cast, and show snippets and behind-the-scenes stuff, before heading into the finale next Sunday.

8. I am pissed about the building up of Claire's freeper lawyer
Someone is trying hard to drive the idea that they can be really nice - even nicer than thinking people. Just in case you missed his family story about the heartless sister who works with refugees...
As of now, mu favorite character remains George.
