If you like Jack McCoy.....
you won't see him onstage at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, CT. But you will see Sam Waterston play Henry Carr, the main character in "Travesties", whose senile remembrances make up the play. It is a farce, a take-off on "The Importance of Being Ernest", a bit of vaudeville, a bit of slapstick. You see Sam doing an outstanding performance in the lead, changing back and forth from the old to the young Carr, talking in an upper class British accent, using body language to effectively in many different situations. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of the theater, go check out the production. You won't be disappointed.
