Anyone else feel like ripping John's head off tonight (Apprentice)?
Can you believe what a sexist pig that guy is? I can't believe Carolyn didn't call him on it. The guy who subbed for George last week picked up on it and told Trump it bothered him. He should have been fired then. I was SO glad to see him go tonight.

1. He's gone and thank goodness!!
He was the most obnoxiuos person I have ever seen on Apprentice! I was disappointed when he wasn't voted off last week. I think that Chris could snap and go off the deep end - he was so intense in the first boardroom and George had to tell him to lower his voice last night - he just doesn't seem very stable to me.

6. I agree. Chris has serious anger management problems
He's been strangely angry in the boardroom on more than one occasion. I think a woman is likely to win this season, maybe Erin or Angela (is that the name of the one with the two tone hair?).

13. Kendra was the manager of this last task.
She has straight, dark blonde hair and is on the "Magna" team.

2. Agreed.
I can't believe the ladies on the team didn't bring up his sexist comments. In fact, they didn't even object to his face about how they were supposed to be window dressing to butter up the artists while he made the sale. Are young women these days so used to that sort of treatment that they don't even object? In fact, I think his attitude was insulting to the artists as well, assuming they could be bought off with a pretty face. Good riddance, John!

4. he even said he was "pimping them out."
I am so sorry Carolyn didn't see that. Trump is an ass, but he can't be nearly that piggish since he's promoted smart female execs like Carolyn.

3. I don't watch the show normally, but I did catch this part.

But then that girl got abused again by Trump in
the boardroom. "Keep talking and you could get
fired."

What an *ss.

5. Trump is an ass, no question
but he has made that talking point to men as well. He's told them if you aren't on the line, keep your mouth shut in the boardroom. Clearly Trump sees women in the most superficial ways, look at his recent wife. But he does have at least some high placed women in his organization. I give him more credit than the Neanderthal John.

7. Okay. LIke I said, I don't watch much.
At least she kept mum after that.

From what I saw, this John guy kept telling his
targets stories about himself -- like they cared.

9. What a pig!
Though I hate to insult pigs! Saying that one woman was a 'fluffer' that is one of the most degrading things I have ever heard on one of these shows. :argh:

10. Only Bad Thing
about this jerk being fired is that nobody directly addressed his sexist piggish attitude. That in and of itself suggests that it just might be somewhat acceptable. I understand that the other candidates wanted him to be fired based on his performance. But his attitudes were not unique to this episode and they were well documented for all of us to see. I'm disappointed in Carolyn on this one. But I applaud the guy who was a stand-in for George last week and criticized John then. The message this season so far seems to be that it is more offensive to chew tobacco in a clown suit than it is to repeatedly verbalize demeaning sexist views. I really think the quality of the candidates has merkedly deteriorated since the first season.

12. I don't think Carolyn saw it
She was watching the other team. I don't think they see the film footage before the boardroom meeting. And I'm certain the episodes are edited to highlight the faults of the person who gets fired. I've also notice that they tend to point to the weaknesses of the contestant who will be fired next week. My guess is that it will be either Craig or Chris.

The guy who was there in George's place last week picked up on John's sexism. I agree it needed to be addressed. I can't believe that stuff flies in corporate American anymore.
Before he started to reveal himself as such a pig, I had John picked as the winner. It shows how bigotry interferes with one's abilities. If he had better views of women, he would have welcomed their contributions and the team wouldn't have done so badly. The women were right not to confront him in the meeting with the artist, but they should have said something after the first or second negotiation. It was a problem that made Net Worth loose the task.

Don't you think this, in general, is a lame group of contestants? I couldn't believe how badly they did on the commercials. I have no business experience or acumen, and I know I would have done better. Then there was the guy who pulled out all the toilets and left no money to replace the carpet. Too many of these characters act from ego rather than sense.

14. Unfortunately
you are exactly right when you say too many of these characters act from ego rather than sense. Combine that with a little good old fashioned American greed and you've got the real world, American style. Sad.
