Survivor Palau: Episode 2
Ashlee's gone.

Ibreheim seems to be clueless so far.

Great, great performance by Tom in the immunity challenge.

Great performance by Ian recovering the flint. Ian's a dolphin trainer, btw.

I liked both these challenges, btw. They're getting creative.

Ulong is in big trouble.

The most amazing thing to me is that, after all the talk of a 4-4 vote for Ashlee and Kim, it turned into Jeff-1, Kim-1, and Ashlee-6.

1. The 'older' team
is doing much better than I ever thought, I knew they had brains but they also have brawn. Tom and Ian did wonderful with the physical tasks, Tom made up for all the time lost by Willard and Ian recovering the fire making equipment...TERRIFIC! Ulong is really on a losing streak and if not for Angie they wouldn't have gotten the fishing equipment either.

2. Could Ulong have been more clueless on that immunity
challenge?

And they had had food!

I felt sorry for that one girl dealing with
the rats. Rat patrol, rat traps, something.
Those things were monsters.

It'll about be time for the older tribe to
throw an immunity so they can get rid of
somebody. That's how it always seems to go.

Tom is very impressive, I have to say. :wow:

3. Ulong appears to be self destructing
despite their strength. I was surprised the group didn't break up the couple. Ashlee's behavior reminded me of Jenna Morasco in one of the previous survivors - she was lifeless for several episodes but ended up winning it all. I think Willard is gone as soon as Korar loses immunity. I love the water challenges - Ian certainly excells in them. He's my early favorite for winner.

4. Ian's a dolphin trainer
he should be a good swimmer.

Tom is surprisingly strong.

So neither of them will win, of course. :)

5. Ian is also a Penn Stater
all the more reason to like him.

And he danced in the 48-hour dance marathon, which raised 4.1 million dollars this year (did I mention that?).

I am so rooting for him this year...
